Go to ease.gov.cv, register, and pay the airport fee.

2. Hotel Reservation or Name

You must also present your hotel reservation or the name of the hotel where you will be staying during your visit.

Testing Locations

Visitors who need to undergo testing should contact the Public Health Authority at least 72 hours in advance for necessary arrangements. RT-PCR or antigen tests are available on the following islands:

Health Insurance and Travel Assistance

Visitors are advised to have health insurance and travel assistance that covers medical care for COVID-19.

In Case of Fever, Cough, or Shortness of Breath

You will be required to undergo a COVID-19 test approved by local authorities and remain in isolation.

Body Temperature

Your body temperature will be checked upon arrival in Cabo Verde.

Recommendations

While staying within the national territory, foreign visitors must, like nationals and residents, comply with all current health and safety norms, instructions, and measures in the country at all times.

At Ports or Airports

Follow the instructions of authorities or your travel agent

QR Code or Form

You must present the QR Code or the paper form filled out to the authorities.

Social Distancing

Always maintain a minimum social distancing of 1 meter and a half.

Hand Hygiene

Frequently sanitize your hands and avoid touching surfaces like railings and counters.

Use Mask

Always wear a protective face mask. It is not mandatory but recommended in crowded and enclosed spaces.

INFORMATION ON COVID-19
