Here, art that was previously made in industrial quantities is still preserved. All that was left of the factory was the chimney, which can be seen on Chaves beach resisting time and the dunes.

One of the oldest villages in Boa Vista, Povoação Velha, is at the foot of Rocha Estância, a place steeped in history and traditions.
